PROCUREMENT OF EMPTY CONTAINER HANDLER

1. Bids on appropriate forms are invited from local firms for Procurement of Empty Container Handlers.
2. Other details of the requirements and conditions are contained in the bidding document.
3. The bidding document is available free of charge on the Procurement Policy Office website (publicprocurement.govmu.org) or Cargo Handling Corporation Ltd Website (www.chcl.mu) or may be collected from the Registry, Cargo Handling Corporation Ltd, CHC Building, Mer Rouge, Port Louis.
4. Any clarification sought by any bidder in respect of the items to be procured shall be addressed in writing to The Cargo Handling Corporation Ltd, Attn: The Managing Director, 2nd Floor, CHC Building, Mer Rouge, Port-Louis so as to reach him at least fourteen (14) days before the deadline for submission of bids.
5. Bids in sealed envelope clearly marked “Procurement of Empty Container Handler; Ref. ONB/CHC/ECH/05/2023” should be addressed to the Managing Director and deposited in the
Tender Box at the under-mentioned address on or before Friday, 31st of March 2023 up to 13.30 at latest.

6. Bids will be opened publicly in the Board Room of the Cargo Handling Corporation Ltd on Friday, 31st of March 2023 at 14.30, in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend.
7. The Cargo Handling Corporation Ltd reserves the right:
(a) to accept or reject any bid; and
(b ) To annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of contract as
per provision of section 39 (1) of the Public Procurement Act 2006.
